Care to comment?

What with me posting strips again I think that maybe I ought to enable comments again in case anyone wants to have their say on my blatant plagiarism or shoddy line work. I'll have to find a way to avoid the inevitable spam that will come with that (most likely me going in and approving or deleting each and every one) and so it won't be immediate but I'll get on it.

This is getting kind of tedious, posting news each time Marmaduke is updated. I should really change the site to show it on the front page but... well that isn't the easiest thing to do. Let's see how long it takes for me to get so fed up that I actually do something about it!

I'm up late but feeling great

And to celebrate I bring you the late edition of Marmaduke.

Got a bunch of letters from LoveFilm through the door today begging for our returned business and offering 3 months worth of rentals for the price of 1. Not a bad deal. The funny thing is that they sent us one letter per account we'd ever opened - they totalled 5, and that's not counting the flyer we got the other day! You'd think they'd try and merge records to avoid redundancy wouldn't you? Honestly, what do their DB admins do all day?

Running, Skating... I'm like a regular action man!

Yep it's time to get fit and get healthy. In addition to running with my iPod I just went skating for the first time in ages... it was really fun! I'm going to have to make room in my schedule for that too! Or I could just take them to work and skate into town at lunch (as it takes me at least 15 minutes at the moment).

Life on Mars

If you haven't seen Life on Mars (the Award-winning BBC drama series) then I strongly urge you to rent / buy it on DVD. You won't be disappointed. It's one of the best shows I've seen in a long time. Funny, gritty, action packed, it's the whole package!

It's about Sam Tyler - a cop who is involved in a car accident and wakes up to find himself in the 70's doing his job 70's style. To partially quote the series 'Is he mad, back in time or in a coma?'.

For the most part the shows are not connected - you can watch them and enjoy them individually, although if you watch them in order you can enjoy the underlying storyline about the accident that put him where he is now. The series 2 finale (and story conclusion) was the other night and lived up to the rest of the series. Please watch it if you get the chance, it's fab!

New Marmaduke for those following it. I should figure out a way to get these backdated comics on the front page really but I'm kind of bogged down with other things right now. Maybe that's something for The Yak Shack v3...
